Rev. Jessica Cottrell has been serving at Harriston United Church since July 2013. She was ordained in 2004 out of London Conference and served congregations in rural Alberta and north-eastern Ontario before accepting the call to Harriston. She feels blessed to be invited to walk beside congregational members in their everyday lives. Each day in ministry is different – which is both a joy and a challenge – and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Rev. Jessica lives in Harriston with her husband the Rev. Micol Cottrell and their dog Mia.
Helen Craigie - Music Director and Office Administrator.
Helen writes, "Having begged my parents for a piano for years, at the age of 8 years my wish came true. By my early teens I was playing regularly at my home church, Stone United. I have served as church organist/choir director for several congregations in the ensuing years including Amherstburg , Ontario and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Harriston United has now been home for over 20 years! I am ever so grateful for the choir members who ever so faithfully attend weekly practices and are ever so willing to sing. Thank you for taking the music to heart and always telling the story. You are a blessing to all."
